I've never heard that before.  The cows I've looked at didn't look like they
would be hard to milk by hand.  I can milk the goats with no trouble.  Some of
the goats let their milk down more easily than others, which makes it easier. 
If they are really full of milk it's more difficult until you get a little
milked out.

The dairy men tell me that the teats need to be pretty much the same size or the
milking machines don't fit on well.  So if they have a cow with one or 2 smaller
teats they don't like to keep them.

Some of the dairy cows have huge bags of milk; it would take forever to milk
them by hand!  I am looking at some dairy rejects because they don't give as
much milk.  As long as I can find one that's healthy.  The price of cattle is
very high right now, so this probably isn't the best time to look.
