I recently subscribed to The Contrary Farmer blog, by Gene Logsdon.

It's real interesting.  It talks about how to make it as a farmer, the farm
economy, and the part very small farmers and people growing some of their
own food have to play.

 

I don't recall the address, but a Google search for Gene Logsdon Contrary
Farmer turned it up easy.

 

I wish Nella could get her email fixed and come back.  Her little farm is
part of what he's talking about.
