Also the plastic integraty could be impacted with too many holes.

Jewel, will this allow to much cold air to get in?

I don't know how cold it gets there, but I think you will want to keep the
warm air inside.

I said in my rmarks on the mini greenhouse that if I had been the designer,
I would have had the top area of the plastic sheeting that covers the frame
in a very fine mesh that would keep pest insects out but which would let
rain in while letting rising hot air out.
What I will be doing is piercing the top with the point of a hot soldering
iron.
I use the iron as the heat will melt and seal the edges of the piercing so
that the plastic will not tear.

I was reading about microfarm greenhouses. The ones I read about are built
in shipping containers, using hydroponics, heat, and LED lights for
year-round production. One online even had an app to monitor all the
components. Sounded very interesting, but the container is 40 X 8 feet, way
too big for my little property. It's real farming, enough for me and lots
extra to sell.

What I want is that, only about the size of my shed.

Or I could move back to the old homestead with my sister. Lots of room out
there. But I'd go crazy, not being able to get anywhere without someone
driving me.

What I need is about half an acre close to or in town, where I could get
around without a car. Similar to what I imagine Nella has.

I can picture how it would all work. But I'd need a partner to help with
marketing my crops; that's not my strong point at all.

I'm so impressed with what Nella has been able to do, setting up her farm
and selling her produce.

I have no idea even how to look for the land I imagine having.

Tracy
