Jewel:

How much snow do you usually get there?

Yes, Bonnie and little Sally Joe are doing well. I kept changing the baby's
name, but have settled on Sally Joe. Somehow if fits her. I can't believe
how fast she's growing. She loves to run and play. She and the young goat
Gumdrop are becoming friends. Porr Sally is going to be so confused; she
has a cow mother, a goat friend and thinks Cruiser is her father. Lol

I would like to breed Bonnie in February or March so she will calf in late
fall. The weather is nice then and she won't have to be huge pregnant in
the summer like she was this time. I'm looking at a smaller Angus bull and
a Dexter bull as breeding options.

Have you tried out the little drone yet?

Jody and I think you need to spy on your neighbors.

Nella

Gore had around about 2 inches of snow overnight and up to midday today.
It has melted now, but we could have more tonight.
It is the first snowfall we have had for the winter.
One of my ewes has very sore feet, so I have asked Alan, my shearer: there
is not much call for his services at this time of the year: to catch the ewe
and hold her still while I apply some zinc ointment to her hooves.
Nella! Are mother and baby doing well? At what age will Bonita go to those
people who were interested in buying a grass-raised heifer? not for several
months I guess.
Will you be getting Bonnie in calf for next year?

         Jewel
