Well! the house now has its frostcloth hat on, and I am very please with the result, as, to all
appearances, are the plants that call it home.
Nella! Is Bonny still suckling Sally Jo, or are you milking her right out and bucket-feeding the
calf?
Btw: I was playing my word game Word Ladder the other night and I came to the clue: young bull or
cow: obviously, Sporcle's game computer doesn't know that a young, very young cow is a heifer: but
be that as it may, the answer was stirk. I thought a stirk was another word for a steer.
There are many differences in word meanings between English English and American ..., and this may
be one.
I will consult the oracle and find out!
