Jodi! Chief! now that is most extraordinary and may show that there is a telepathic thread between
you and me, as I dreamed, recently, and I can't give you a precise date but it could be a week ago,
that I was getting a new dog and his name was? Oh! you have guessed it!
I thought that I was being told to get a new dog, not that Guideon is anywhere near his "Use by"
date, so I will put that on the backburner for the next year or two. Next dog around: if I can get
one that is descended from a line that have more than the odd brain cell between its ears, will be a
rough-coated collie.
Perhaps, I should contact the Disney studios and ask where they got their line of Lassies from?

Hello Jewel,
Wow, you have been having unusually hot weather and we have been having unusually cold weather. This
morning it was 9° below 0 Fahrenheit when we got up.
I just returned from the Seeing Eye with my new guide dog. He is a male German Shepherd. His name is
chief.
Going the Seeing Eye was an incredible experience! The school is now 90 years old. They have thought
of everything! I also gained 8 pounds because the food was so good! Well now I get to walk it all
off with this fantastic new dog.
I don’t have any advice on how to pick figs. I would be curious though.
Stay cool and will try to keep warm
