[AG-EQ] Garden book

Tracy,

Since my household is also a sighted household, we have loads of
printed materials for Lord knows how many topics related to gardening,
farming, livestock and everything falling under the heading
"homesteading".

We like the "Country Side" and the "Hobby Farms" magazines.  There are
several that Matt just picks up at the magazine racks.  He is starting
to get interested in hydroponics and hopefully, we will be getting our
two Nigerian dwarf dairy goats early next week.  He has already been
obtaining books and on-line sites reference the small dairy goats.

We are frameing things around here as homesteading and taking things
step by step.  I am really not planning on living off the "grid",
however, when you lose power in all kinds of weather for up to two
weeks, you learn just how important it is to do things without
electricity for a period of time.  There is nothing wrong with
homestead skills, but I don't think I would like living in such remote
locations that you couldn't get supplies more often than every 3 to 6
months if you are lucky.  LOL
