Have you seen Accessworld, it is the technology magazine published by the American Foundation for the Blind. if you are into tech like the iPhone, this monthly email might interest you. You can click thru and subscribe to it yourself if you like it. They talk a lot about the iPhone and other smart devices. The current issue seems to have some different stuff, but with the new iOS 12 coming out I'm sure the next issue will be heavy with iPhone and Apple accessibility articles.

Not all that long ago, separate apps were needed for text recognition, currency identification, bar code reading, and color identification. Both Seeing AI and Envision AI offer a multi-purpose app that claims to perform many of these functions, and more.

When I began reading The Secret Sauce of Savvy Search, I hoped to be able to learn more about how to use Google in a more powerful way. Mosen's course met my expectations, and I am certain that I will refer back to the reference many times in the future.

Here at AccessWorld, we receive a steady stream of reader feedback asking us to describe and review more mainstream home gadgets and appliances that are already or that can be made accessible to the blind. Here, we take a look at the Roomba 671, which is accessible using an app or Amazon Echo.
