I produce accessible materials for students with disabilities, including a number of blind students. One of the students is taking a humanities course that covers a number of famous works of art ( Mona Lisa, The Last Supper, La Pietra by Michelangelo and so on.) I have been asked to produce image descriptions to help him understand the subtleties of each piece. While I am happy to do this, I am wondering if there are existing compillations of image descriptions of this sort, especially for well known works of art. I am certain there are experts who are able to produce far more thorough and eloquent descriptions than I can!

Is anyone aware of an archive of this kind?

Thanks for your help,

Wendy Holden
