Rivian officially announced a phased roadmap for its Point-to-Point
assisted driving capability under the Rivian Autonomy+ platform.

Rivian recently made some announcements regarding expansion of their
autonomy capabilities in their vehicles. Here is a  Gemini Summary of it.

Key Rollout Details

Limited Rollout — Late 2026: Point-to-Point driving is expected to begin
rolling out in a limited release to select Gen 2 R1 and R2 vehicles before
the end of 2026.
Widespread Rollout — 2027: Rivian plans a broader customer rollout across
the Gen 2 R1 and R2 fleets during 2027.
Capabilities: Similar in concept to Tesla’s FSD (Supervised), Rivian’s
Point-to-Point system is designed to navigate from an origin to a
destination using surface streets, intersections, highways, and highway
on/off-ramps.
Large Driving Model: The system uses Rivian’s end-to-end Large Driving
Model (LDM).
Supervised at Launch: Point-to-Point will initially remain an eyes-on,
supervised driver-assistance system. Rivian has indicated that more
advanced eyes-off capabilities are planned for the future.
