Avride is actively expanding its autonomous food delivery service across
university campuses.

Avride has significantly expanded its sidewalk delivery robot operations
through partnerships with Grubhub, Chartwells Higher Education, and Uber
Eats.

Key Campus Expansion Highlights
Campus Deployments: Avride operates on several major university campuses,
including The Ohio State University, Bowling Green State University (BGSU),
East Carolina University (ECU), Indiana University Bloomington, the
University of Arizona, and Salisbury University.
Ohio State: The Ohio State University hosts one of Avride’s largest
single-site fleets, with more than 100–120 robots completing thousands of
deliveries each week.
Chartwells Higher Education: Chartwells entered into a Master Service
Agreement with Avride to deploy autonomous delivery robots across select
partner colleges and campus dining programs nationwide.
Grubhub Integration: Students and faculty can order through the Grubhub app
and, depending on the campus, pay using dining dollars, meal plans, campus
funds such as Falcon Dollars, or credit/debit cards.
Robot Technology: Avride robots use 360-degree LiDAR, ultrasonic sensors,
and computer vision to navigate pedestrian traffic and operate in
conditions including rain and snow. Their cargo compartments can
accommodate larger food orders, including family-sized pizzas and drinks.
