Hello Anita,

I am a customer service representative at the IRS. It sounds like perhaps there is some kind of issue with your account. What I would recommend you do is call the main IRS phone number which you can find at www.irs.gov.

Hello,

I have a problem, attempting to access my account with IRS because it now requires that you use ID.me.

I have made several attempts to set up an account using ID.me but I have not been successful. I even tried setting it up with visual assistance from someone. It is always a problem with answering in my ID information and the photo copy of my information.


Can anyone tell me if there is a better way? I need to get into my account ASAP!
