Friends,

We will be holding our 2024 Annual Meeting of the National Association of
Blind Government Employees (NABGE) on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 7PM - 9PM in
Salon 8 at the Rosen Center Hotel. Please join us!

*	Come kick-start your career or give it a boost by networking,
sharing ideas, and learning about opportunities related to civil service;
*	Hear from a master networker so you can tap into the "it's who you
know" network;
*	Hear about reasonable accommodations like on-demand readers and
way-finding at government spaces;
*	And so much more!

In the last year, we've participated in two Where the Blind Work seminars,
testified before Congress on 508 compliance issues we face, participated in
an Office of Inspector General investigation on inaccessible systems and
technology, and so much more. NABGE is where we take control of our careers
and make things happen for the blind.

Dues are $10 for all, except students who pay $5. Please try to arrive at
6:45 to pay your dues. We can only accept cash in person, but members can
also pay their dues online by visiting:
https://nfb.org/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1
<https://nfb.org/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=44> &id=44.

We can't wait to see you on July 5!

Ronza Othman, President

National Federation of the Blind of Maryland

Pronouns: she, her, hers

The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland knows that blindness is not
the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back
