[Blind-international-students] introducingmyself andcommentsonyour discussion

Dan, I totally agree with you.
True the cost of a bill identifier is $99 not $300, however, this is not the point. Even if the cost of a bill identifier was $0 it does not address the issue of why a blind person can not be able to identify their money independently. The arguement of high cost to the US infrastructure is a age old arguement used throughout American history including pryor to the passage of the Americans with Disabilities ACT. It is the most convenient used by those who do not want to see progress, however, I am in know way refering to NFB leaders as people who do not want to see progress. NFB leadership has good intentions, but I sometimes question their priorities. The cost of of making the currency excessable is far cheaper then a car that blind people can drive and for me as a blind person it is far more important to be able to manage independently then drive independently.
Anmol
I seldom think about my limitations, and they never make me sad. Perhaps there is just a touch of yearning at times; but it is vague, like a breeze among flowers.
