[Blind-international-students] Up With People

Gretings
 My name is Rachna. I have been on the list for quite a few months
now, but am finally introducing myself. I am originally from India,
but I live in Nebraska and study at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln
or UNL. I started out majoring in Psychology which is interesting, but
I didn't know how I would apply it, and I switched to education, to
posibly become a teacher of blind students. Currently I am not
attending colege, but instead I am taking the time to train at a
center for the blind. I value this list and it was a pleasure to join
in on the first confouence cll. My close friend would like to pass on
the following information since she thought it would be relevant for

         For anyone interested in learning more about traveling the
world in an international group of future leaders; Hello my name is
Stephanie Wagle and that's exactly what I did.
         The gorup was called "Up with People", the experience was six
months spent traveling across America, Mexico and Northern Europe
performing and impacting communities representing seventeen different
countries. There I advocated for blindness as well as other global
issues. It would be a joy to share more of this experience with you.
