[Blind-rollers] question about grocery shopping

Hi all,

I noticed the list was getting rather quiet lately, so I hope this
gets some discussion going.

For those of you who primarily use public transit to comute where you
need to go, how do you grocery shop?  Do you sometimes turn to
paratransit or a cab, or do you get small amounts of groceries at a
time so you can carry them in some way on the bus or train?  I'm
rather at a loss as to how this can be done, and am rather curious as
to what your thoughts are.
