 Hi Bibi
A really good team of medical people, therapists, O and M practitioners
and basically anyone you can get on your side is essential in making a
case and fighting the system to get what you need. I love my
power-chair. I don't use it outdoors yet because I have my own battles,
but maybe a first step would be to get you an indoor one so you can get
used to it first etc.
Its daft in England because if you aren't totally reliant on the
wheelchair at home, then th ey certainly won't give you one for outdoor
use.
I have three wheelchairs in my house at the moment: One that is a manual
self-propel one for outsidee, one which is a power-chair for indoor use,
and an old one of mine that my best friend uses sometimes to get
through her own heahth problems.

Keep your chin up, and keep in touch.
Best
Erica.
