[Blind-rollers] Power Wheelchairs and Blind People

Hi
I do not know of any power chairs that fold. It takes practice to move the
chair but using a long cane and trying to follow along a wall works quite
well. The chairs now turn on a dime so are easy to move, For me I find the
most difficult part is when I am in an open area either in a building or
outside as there is no way to find a landmark and to know if I'm going
straight but I travel alone with my power chair, service dog and long cane
and it works especially when it is in a place where I've been before. I use
paratransit most of the time but we have a lift equipped van I occasionally
use when my husband (who also uses a chair) can drive.
Maureen

Hi, I am also wondering how you maneuver a power chair when you're blind. I
may be doing this soon. What is the best power chair to get that folds.?
