Hi blind rollers list. On Saturday at 3:00 P.M. eastern the cerebral palsy group connected to national federation of the blind that has been trying to organize will happen will hold it’s next conference call on Saturday 3:00 P.M. eastern time that is Saturday September 1< 2018. Consult the july issue of the braille monitor for full contact information but the phone number is 712-831/0000 the access code is 9999 followed by the pound sign. The prupose of this group is to provide support and discuss issues and the challenges faced by those who are both blind and who have a physical impairment. The person trying to organize this has unfortunately confined this group to those with cerebral palsy but I think those with other physical disabilities should be considered. I am working on assuming the charge of this group because the person who is trying to organize it has been trying for a couple years. He has chaged times and phone numbers of these calls before and four five or maybe six different times promoted in the braille monitor.  I have also explained to him that he must be in conference call at least 10 minutes before it. He was then also have item by item what his adjenda should bee.  I have often sat on that line for 20 minutes and music is still going on the line.  I have explained that I can promote this call over and over again here on this list but it won’t work unless he’s able to conduct them. They are essentially meetings.  That music should stop by the time conference begins. So come in a little before start time and if nothing else, I will try to be in there and I will conduct the meetings. I hope all those who use not only wheelchairs but scooters like the cegue that are on this list can attend. The phone number again is 712-831-0000 access code is 9999 followed by the pound sign.
