Erica, dancing for joy with you. Great job in advocacy and standing strong
for what you knew you needed. I am so excited for you!

Hello fellow rollers
I just wanted to give you guys a quick update. After many years of using a
manual chair, pulling myself along by my feet and one arm and using a cane
in the other hand, I now finally have a powerchair I can use outdoors as
well as at home.
I can now give back the powerchair I got from the NHS (which they were
unwilling to let me use outside.
I am fully insured for public liability as well as for breakdowns etc. They
don't ask about health conditions on the insurance paperwork (my guy from
the mobility shop did all the paperwork with me).
Needless to say I am super super chuffed and I'm celebrating tonight!

I hope you all are as well as can be expected.

Erica Cole.
