[blindkid] Sitting Tolerance

We've made the trek home from China 4 times with newly adopted kiddos.
My best advice is to pack your child his own bag or backpack of toys and
snacks. Let him carry them on and bring them out to play. If at all
possible, have a few new things in there as well. Little cars and
trucks work well for 5 y.o. boys, as well as legos and playdoh. Post it
notes and stickers can be great fun as well. When he gets restless, walk
the aisles. Depending on the timing of your flights, try to avoid too
much sleep before the flight so that he's tired when he gets on the
plane and can sleep at least some of the way. I think one other person
recommended Benadryl. If you want to go that route, try it once before
the flight as it makes some kids hyper instead of sleepy.
