[blindkid] iPods ideas

Sorry I changed the subject. Just in case you guys didn't get it.
I am blind and am 16. I got my IPod Touch when I was 12 and loved it. I
think it is the best device I have gotten that opened doors for me. If you
have the empower it will work but it is flakey. But if you have the Apex it
is flawless. A feature you guys will like is Imessage. This feature lets you
text any Ipod, Iphone, Mac, or Ipad user for free. I like this feature cause
if a friend doesn't have a mobile phone they can still text me. Another
awesome app is Text now. This app lets you text people on the mobile phone
network. This app does cost 2.99 but is worth it.

As others have said, the iPod Touch will work with VoiceOver and the
Braillenote. It is a good choice, will do most of what iPhone will do, but
you don't have to worry about phone part. Much Assistive Technology is
moving towards iOS devices so good to get her going in that direction.
