[blindkid] Great Lakes Braille Readers Are Leaders Contest

The NFB affiliates of the eight states in the Great Lakes region – Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York – have joined forces to create the first ever Great Lakes Braille Readers Are Leaders Contest! Students in grades K-12 keep track of the Braille pages they read between December 1 and January 20 and submit a reading log at the close of the contest reading period. The three students in each grade category who read the most pages will receive cash prizes, and each student who enters the contest will receive a packet of complimentary gifts. The taste of competition is a great way to encourage kids to read.
