[blindlaw] Question About Rental Discrimination

I've spoken with blind couples who, many years ago, were denied housing 
based on blindness,e.g. landlord couldn't afford to keep a fire truck at the 
ready in case they burned the house down.
I remember having the same concerns when looking at a unit. The fact that we 
didn't have a car was in our favour when the owner made his decision.
