A Marine wife who is legally blind and has two very high functioning autistic boys, ages 7 and 2, has had someone report her to CPS for child endangerment for excessive drinking. This mom admits to 1-2 glasses 2 to 3 times a week sometimes less and sometimes more. She does not drink unless another adult is present knowing the safety issues being visually impaired and also having two autistics. With the amount of ABA therapists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, case managers, and her own two in home therapists (one is a therapist for her needs as a special needs mom, the other is to assist with the unique issues of a military marriage), she has little to no time to allow unfounded alcoholism accusations by an unknown party disrupt the meticulous routine an autistic household must maintain.

What is advised from those of you out there that can take the time to sound off? There is much more to the story but I do not care to disclose much more of her situation via email. Should she hire an attorney? Should she be completely forth coming and provide medical and psychological disclosure releases? (not that she has much of a choice on this one)

Each of her therapists, aides, and others that work within the home and many personal friends and family can attest to her strength and ability to multitask her own disability and that of her two sons autism. She has had a prior stalker (her ex husbands current wife who was convicted of stealing her identity) and has an issue with the neighbors aggressive dogs that live behind her and has had to report to military housing and animal control that their dogs have broken through her gate many times and aggressively attach the fence when her children are playing out there for therapy. She is not sure who reported her but those that she feels would know how much she drinks and when have all stepped up to be a witness and she is afraid this reporting may be a malicious act by one of the two above named parties.

Again, thanks for reading and I hope someone can give some advise.
