My method of "wittnessing" documents, as a JP and Notary public has been to
use a sighted verifier for the usual ID checking things one does at an
execution. Checking driver's Liscense or nondriver's ID or whatever form of
ID the signatory is using.
It's a sighted world, and to best serve my client, a reader/sighted verifier
has never once resulted in a challenge to any document.
This method has worked for me for24 years.
