Dogs and Your Heart Health

The Mid-Atlantic Lyceum and
the Maryland Institute College of Art happily offer the mini-forum

Dogs and Your Heart Health

Supporters: the Center on Medicine and
Law, the Maryland Animal Law Center, and Federal Employees with Disabilities

 March 13 from 12 to 2 P.M.

Maryland Institute College of
Art

Ground Floor, Bunting Center, 1401 W Mt Royal
Ave, Baltimore, MD 21217

As the Mid-Atlantic Lyceum
continues to collaborate with partners such as MICA (a pet friendly art
college) to provide more traditional as well as innovative ways of brokering
human relations and understanding on animal issues, please take due attention
that, on 13 March, the next in its collaborative engagements will take place in
Baltimore city.

Many people anecdotally know
our dog partners impact cardiovascular health. At this mini forum, come and
learn more, meet other dogs, bring your own canine companion (if you have one),
and enjoy a snack. Blood pressure screenings will be provided in honor of
National Heart Month, which occurs in February; and a short lecture on the
impact of dogs on human cardiovascular health will be delivered.

The forum is free and open to
the public
