Hey everyone, I pass along the below message from President Judy Perry
Martinez about the ABA Virtual Annual Meeting.  It is free for members and
only $95 for those who are not.  There are a plethora of outstanding
programs including all kinds of CLE.  If you are not already a member of the
ABA, I would strongly consider it for this program alone along with the 650
plus free CLE’s available to members and a bunch of publications.  I suspect
that most of you would qualify for the lower membership dues because many
are either solos or public interest or government lawyers.  Even the higher
dues categories are lower than what they use to be.

haven’t yet registered, please do so today at

events around our theme of “Convening for Justice.” And please remind your
friends and colleagues as well.

Annual Meeting speakers will include U.S. Senator Tim Scott, U.S. Rep. James
Clyburn, former UN Ambassador Samantha Power, Baltimore Police Commissioner
Michael Harrison, NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine, National Geographic
Adventurer of the Year and environmental advocate Kit DesLauriers, and more.

We’re also looking forward to the General Assembly on Wednesday, July 29,
starting at 4 p.m. Central Time. In addition to the presentation of the
ABA’s highest honor, the ABA Medal, to William H. Neukom, other very special
and prominent surprise guests will speak.
