[Blindmath] Can PDF math texts be accessed via screen reader?

A search at the NLS Catalogue for "Linear Algebra" yielded no results, 
and financial matters keep me from access RFB&D's materials. Any other 
suggestions on accessible undergraduate level inear algebra learning 
material would be appreciated, as I'll be taking that next semester. 
Never hurts to get a head start.
