[Blindmath] college and math

If you are interested in getting a book brailled, you may want to visit the American Printing House for the Blind's web site at www.aph.org. APH maintains a database of accessible media producers (AMP); I think there are about 230 AMPs listed at this time. Brailling a math book is generally rather expensive. You may want to find a group who transcribes books on a volunteer basis, or you may want to consider audio access.

Roopakshi,

Contact me off list (sbahram at nc.rr.com), I might be able to suggest some
resources for you in India.

Take care,
Sina

I am not a PHD student either, though I do hope that I am able to do a PHD
in economics.
I think that Mathematics can be done in class with out Braille. In India,
there are no resources for transcribing Math into Braille and I had to
devise ways to study with out it.
That said, I also believe that Braille would make any Math student's life
easier.

Regards
Roopakshi from India
