[Blindmath] Stats packages

Hi all,

I'm wondering if there have been any developments in the ability of screen 
readers to convey on-screen information for any of the stats applications 
out there such as SPSS and so on. If so please convey. I've also bumped into 
a free open source stats package called R basic. Is this accessible at all? 
Absolutely all information will be greatly appreciated.
