[Blindmath] Sighted reading of Nemeth math

I would like to talk with you some more Susan. I am wondering how best to
use my talents and love of Braille after my student graduates H.S. in 2
years. I have thought about doing the transcribers course through the
Library of Congress. I even started it before but stopped since I didn't
have the time while my student was in elementary.
I don't know if I want to begin all over again with more students in the
local school district.

Gee, I wish I lived closer to y'all! This former VI teacher and now
full-time transcriber is getting depressed hearing this even though I'm not
surprised. (And yes, it does seem like one should get a break money-wise.
I'd vote for that! But that's not going to happen and we all know it.)
It's a dang shame that it's 2009 and we're still fighting the same blasted
battle.
