[Blindmath] R statistics software

Hi Jonathan,
My name is Sarah Jevnikar, and I'm on the Blind Math mailing list with you.
I've just downloaded R, as I need it for an introductory statistics course,
and found your name while googling ways to make it more accessible with
JAWS. In a post to the Blind Math mailing list you mentioned something about
using an alternative to the GUI. Could you explain this further to me? Are
there any additional ways to make R JAWS-friendly?
