[Blindmath] R statistics software

Hi,
Is R the recommended software?
If so it will make things so much easier...
OK, when you install R you get a short cut on the desktop for it -
version 2.10 perhaps which is due for release. (I haven't' downloaded it yet).
You need to edit this shortcut so that it points to rterm.exe instead
of rgui.exe
There is nothing else you can do to make it more accessible.
I'm happy to answer questions but need to know what situation you're in.
