Hi all,
Using java accessibility bridge and accessibility.properties file, I am able too at least access menus in spss. However, I am facing a problem in giving values to a variable. I entered data of thirteen variables using excel, imported that file into spss. Now when I am trying to give values to variables, I.e. 1 to males and 2 to females, I just cannot accomplish this using jaws. When I am opening define variable properties dialogue box from data menu in spss, most of the options are reading correctly. I am able to enter a label for the variable and select whether my data is ordinal or nominal. However, when I reach the option of giving values to variable jaws will only announce that there are "X" number of unlabeled values. In case of sex variable in my example data file, jaws is announcing there are two unlabeled values. But I do not find any edit field or any other way of typing the values I am trying to give to my variables. Is jaws not seeing something? Or am I doing something incorrect.
Any help is appreciated,
Regards,
faiz.
ps I am using this website for my example data.
