Hi,

since this is fairly off topic I won't say much.
However setting up linux is far from hard, I can install it in about 20-30 minutes depending on my internet connection.
I would compare  this to multiple hours to set up windows some of which is not accessible.
bringing this back on topic, I do believe linux is a good engineering OS, especially for computer science.
