[Blindmath] Questions from a struggling student.

I don't know if R has it but one thing which can help with commandline 
applications is tab completion.

Another feature (I mainly know about it from python) is some of the self 
documentation, eg. docstrings.

Knowing the help systems of commandline tools is quite important for 
getting on with them. Unfortunately the help systems may vary from 
application to application though.
