You can usually extract text from a PDF file but it is hard if not 
impossible to get the math extracted properly.  What about having a sighted 
person read the math to you using Nemeth's MathSpeak while you write down 
the corresponding Nemeth.  That would give you a chance to practice your 
Nemeth and also to see if you like this method.
