It sounds as though there is something odd about the interface between Jaws 
and IE with MathPlayer.  I would advise visiting a sighted person who has 
the latest MathPlayer installed and listening to how MathPlayer speaks math 
when Jaws isn't involved.  That way you will know what you should be 
hearing.  For example here's what the latest MathPlayer speaks for the 
quadratic equation: a x squared plus bee x plus cee equals zero.
