[Blindmath] Powerpoint question

Hello all,

Does anyone know how to insert Greek characters into word, or more
importantly, into the text of powerpoint slides. I use things like
sigma a lot, but I tend to write it out. I need to know a better way
of writing symbols like Greek letters and square root signs for my
students. The problem is classes start soon and I don't have a lot of
time or money to learn or buy a new program. Also, does anyone know
of any good powerpoint and Jaws tutorials online? I could really use
them.

Sincerely,
   Ryan
