Advise Greetings:

I'm new to this list and would like to ask several questions about math
software for the blind and would appreciate any help with any of these
topics. I know this has been discussed before in this list from what I
was able to research online but has anyone had success using ChattyInfty
and InftyReader with JAWS. So far I was able to install and use
chattyInfty with given scripts and Infty Reader but the latter is hard
to understand how it's supposed to work. I still get the error message
that it cannot create image file? If anyone can help me along, I'd
appreciate it.

Anyway, I would like to know how one can scan a document with
InftyReader and import it to either ChattyInfty or MS Word and
accurately read the math text. I know once we have it in LaTeX, it'll
work with any math equation editor and Braille translation software like
Duxbury and TSS. So far, however, I was able to create basic math
equations with ChattyInfty but I don't believe this is intended for
solving math equations like VP Pencil or WinTriangle, both of which I
have not tried yet. Speaking of which, has anyone used WinTriangle?
Apparently it's open source software but I get the feeling it might be
outdated based on the website. Unfortunately, I never had the time to
install it and formally test it out. What has been everybody's
experience with this software? Does it work with Windows 7? Should
someone in my position recommend ChattyInfty or WinTriangle to a college
bound student who will be taking Algebra, calculus, trig, geometry,
statistics or physics? What about MathSpeak? Has anyone tried MathSpeak
and can it be used by a blind user? I heard the various demonstrations
online but I get the feeling this hasn't been updated recently either.
Thanks for any or resources.
