You will find controls for setting the domain and range of a function on the
Plot tab. Select Options > Plot > Range from the menu bar. You'll land on
the "Function Domain, Start" edit field, and pressing TAB once brings you to
the "Function Domain, Finish" edit field; you can type new values in to
these fields. Continuing to TAB through the Plot tab, you'll find an edit
field for specifying the number of points you wish to have on the graph,
options for setting x and y graph limits, and check boxes for auto-scaling
the x or y axis to the appropriate values of the function based on what you
have entered; auto-scaling causes the limits options for that axis to be
unavailable, of course (for instance, you can enter a certain domain, then
choose the AutoScale Y Axis option to have the AGC plot the correct range
which corresponds to the domain without your having to explicitly supply
it). There are other options on the Plot tab as well. Once you have finished
making your changes, return to the appropriate Data tab, and press F4 to
re-evaluate the expression for the new domain/range values. BTW, note that
if you are using a screen reader in any way with the AGC (to provide speech
and/or to drive a Braille display), some of the options are incorrectly
labeled (for instance, the Domain, Start option is incorrectly labeled as
Domain, # Pts), but the self-voicing capability speaks them correctly.

Hope this is helpful.

Regards,
Maria

Subject: [Blindmath] AGC and Expanding Grid

Hello Everyone:

I have a student using the Audio Graphing Calculator 3.0; how does one
expand the graph to incorporate numbers larger than 10?

Thank You,
Sharon
