[Blindmath] Scientific Notebook and JAWS

Unless something has recently changed--I was able to experiment with SN 5.5
and, I believe, JAWS 11, some time back at the Disability Services office at
the university where I did my undergraduate studies--I could not use it. A
screen reader did not read the symbols which I could choose to insert, if
memory serves. If you don't want to have to type in any LaTeX by hand in
order to produce math, the ChattyInfty editor is an option; admittedly, I am
not terribly familiar with its latest capabilities, as it has been some time
since I have played with it. Using Microsoft Word+MathType requires that
only the math content be typed as an equation in LaTeX, while the other
content can be written and edited as would any other, non-math documents
using the GUI of Word, so this might also be an option for you.
If something has recently changed RE Scientific Notebook accessibility, I'm
happy to be corrected!
Regards,
Maria
