Thank you everyone for your quick and detailed answers. Our DSS department is getting MathType at my insistence and the Math Department of our campuses are getting it as well. I want to be well versed in how to do things so I can help our instructors.

Hello,
As well as DBT, you could use the tiger software suite which can translate
MathType equations into Braille (I believe Nemeth and UK Braille are
supported as well as dots plus).

Hi everyone,

Let me preface this by saying this may have already been discussed but I
can't remember. Can math type be converted to braille or does it have to be
converted to LaTex and edited to go into Duxbury?
