[Blindmath] Math type question

I have to agree, that although it is possible to scan or type information into a computer document, click "translate", and then emboss, a knowledge of braille, either literary or nemeth is essential. Much like a foreign language, braille has it's own syntax and if you are unaware of the rules that govern translation and formatting, your student may never be able to figure out what it is you are trying to communicate. Schools would never ask a sighted student to use textbooks that are incorrect or incomplete, and although I understand your dilema ($'s), braille textbooks must be held to the same standard.

Probably. I think one of the biggest costs of a professionally transcribe
book is the person time and skill in ensuring no translation issues have
happened and that the formatting is correct.

Folks what do you think! Do I have enough technology to produce a book in
Braille, including all the graphics?
This is what I have: tiger scientific notebook, Duxbury, Romeo pro 50, and
spot dot. I can download the QuickTac. I need a 7th grade matchbook. Would
I be Pablo to produce the same quality materials that a certified nemith
transcriber would? Toe book costs thousands. Your opinions are appreciated.
