Hello everyone,

I am putting together a learning module for teachers. The purpose of the module is to help them understand how important accessibility and assistive technology is to students. Honestly, I didn't really "get it" until I lived with someone who was blind, so I speak from experience on this. Sometimes us sighted people "just don't understand" and I really feel that if instructors understood they would work hard to make their materials accessible (not just because it was required by law). If any of you would like to send a message to possibly be included in this module my email is bjcasile at waketech.edu The message should address how accessibility has made a difference to you personally and/or in your education. I want you to know that this module will be on a learning database called NCLOR, so only send a message if you feel comfortable having it on the internet. I will also need your name. For example, I would sign my message, Bente Casile Raleigh NC.

Thank you for your consideration
Bente
