[Blindmath] sci notebook and duxbury woes

HI, I save it as a rich text file, whihc is what SN recognizes, but it does not help. When I save it as a 2003, then open it, 2010 still opens it, of course, so even if saved,  as a 2003, it opens as a 2010. I think! Then of course, I save as a RTF, but have no control as to saving as a 2003 or 2010.

Have you tried saving it as a Word 97 format and then migrating over to scientific notebook?

Folks, I  receive Microsoft word files from teachers, which I bring into Sci Notebook to prepare for Duxbury. The formatting gets messed up, and there is a lot of computer lingo on teh bottom. To me it looks like 2010 and SN is not compatable. Does anyone have this problem?How did you get around it?
