Hi,
You have few options in your hand.

A. spelling out all symbols in your math notes instead of inserting
the actual symbol. This method is useful if you have limited math
content.

B. Learning LaTeX:

LaTeX is not application. It is typesetting language.
Learning LaTeX code is simelar to learning html code.
So not only your friends should know the codes but also you will have
to know the codes to understand what your friends have written.

Here are 2 solutions

1. you can learn LaTeX coding and ask your friends to dictate.
2. buy mathtype. Mathtype will help you to convert mathtype equations
into LaTeX coded
equations where you can read the codes if you have learned LaTeX
codes. Students can buy mathtype for 57 $.

c. You can audio record the mathamatical stuff.

d. If you have printed material you can use infty reader. It is like
scanning the material and converting it. However, you will have to be
careful while scanning as output depends upon how you scan.

Thanks and Regards

Siddhi
