I agree. Also, if you’re reading with a braille display, you’ll find that the mathematics is presented as a combination of words and symbols, rather than using the correct mathematical braille code for the translation type you’ve chosen.
By contrast, VoiceOver under iOS presents Nemeth code braille. I haven’t tested under other language settings to determine whether additional codes are supported.
I’m sure Apple are aware of these limitations. Their accessibility expertise is superb, and they’re very well placed to address all of the above-mentioned concerns.
