[Blindmath] technology frustration with my mathlab.com

Hi. Is anyone out here using my mathlab.com also known as Pearson Education?
They keep saying how accessible they are, and I have been struggling with
these people for over a year. My school uses this site a lot and I have
actually gotten some very useful things out of it. It is a nice interactive
exercise area that will help you break down problems, or show you how to
break down a similar problem.
However, the last time I spoke to one of their "disability team members" I
was told that mathlab will only work with JFW 15, and that I need to use IE
9 or earlier. This seems almost impossible in this day and age to have such
old technology.
Has anyone worked with these people before? Are they completely nuts? Or am
I completely nuts?
I have even tried using the enterprise mode for IE, that someone on here was
talking about a few weeks ago, only to find out that I have to have windows
8.1 Enterprise; instead of my 8.1 home premium version.
I also don't have a cool thousand dollars for jaws.
Ready to pull my hair out!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
